This is the scariest story I've ever heard..." these are the words I need to include in Saturday Centus this week MM now where shall I go with it? Please link back to Jenny for more scary stories
I don't really do Halloween so please forgive me for taking it in different slant.
Cousin Kathe had been waiting for an opportunity for me to come and stay for an evening to have a drink , how could I tell her that really I didn't drink I mean I was all of 20 and really never had a social life that included going to pubs. I went we had a great time ,the boys went to bed and then out came this clear liquid the first sip burnt my mouth and throat the next one was delicious I remember nothing else when I told my aunt she said This is the scariest story I've ever heard..."
“But its true” I said

Oh, I wonder what happened after the second drink. Great take on the prompt but I could see how it would be scary, ha.
You either got hammered , sloshed, stammerin drunk or you passed out because it was poisoned . hmmm it burnt your tongue ....
Sounds like some potent stuff!
=)
That happened to me the first (and LAST) time someone gave me Southern Comfort! It really was scary!
Light weight! I must have a cast iron liver. The first time I drank tequilla I drank my girlfriend under the coffee table. She fell over and passed out. I got up, cleaned up the table and went to bed. But I'm not much of a drinker now LOL. Very good use of the prompt!~Ames
Too many of us can identify with this tale! Mwahahahaha!!!!
I can so identify with this! I'm not much of a drinker, so I can imagine her confusion. Nice, unexpected take on the prompt. Kat
oh no, that was some drink!

I'm another who can relate! My first drink of hard liquor made my face buzz, second put me to sleep. Great slant on the prompt........cj
Hmmmm...this is scary. I could not stand not knowing what I did after drinking.
Beware the demon drink! Great take on the post. We don't do halloween either!
I like your sincere, human approach to this. We've all had those scary earlier life moments.

I love that you strayed from the norm...I am over Halloween! I also like your new blog...I wasn't sure I was in the right place though! It is very calming, I like it
Blackout first time? Frightening indeed.
Excellent use of the prompt. There is nothing that says that we absolutely must write a Halloween-text. There are so many things in life that are truly scary. For many young people their journey from childhood to adult life is filled with peril and lurking dangers.
I was born with a stomach that did not hold food very well. I was often sick to my stomach in my childhood. So my mother gave me two medicines: Coca-cola and Whisky! I drank Coke to calm my stomach and Whisky (in very small doses) to kill bacteria. I thought Whisky tasted terrible. I was only four or five years old. But it made me forever consider licquer as something medicimal and bad-tasting, which probably saved me from getting drunk in my teens and twenties and getting into trouble because of it.
Not everyone is that lucky. And as a parent, I find the thought of my children in that kind of a situation as scary. I ten years, I will have to think about those things.
Well done.
Best wishes,
Anna
Anna's & Sara's SC-post Week 25
LOL! Great post! You know there are some times when I wished I could have forgotten the night before. Maybe I need to change my drink choices!
Tracy, what a fun TREAT for an SC link!
And I really love what you've done with the header. It is so festive.
Thanks for using your own unique take on this. It was an interesting link.
