Alphabet Thursday from Eden House .Q is for......

QUALITY  NOT QUANTITY

Ok as some of you who know me I am overweight. ( working towards reducing it )

I am very much in favour of the above saying .

Go to fullsize imageversus Go to fullsize image

I would quite happily eat  a whole dairy milk bar but enjoy far more two squares of plain good quality chocolate.

Go to fullsize image and a glass of veuve clique  is far prefferable to Go to fullsize imagecheap cava
dont get me wrong I am NOT a snob and will quite happily drink Cava

and then we have  cars

Go to fullsize imageA porsche would be fantastic if money was no option Go to fullsize image but I am very happy with the quality of my corsa  ( fingers crossed it passes the MOT today )

There is so many more comparrisons I could make but I thing you get the idea of where I am heading .
Life is about doing the best you can .
These last few days in the uk have shown that there is such a greed  around . I Know there is great hardship around but I also know that some of my family survived the war and there was real hardship then with ration books .
Maybe if the world looked at quality as opposed to quantity it would be a better place .
And I don't mean buying the most expensive just the best we can.

I am sure there are better uses of the letter Q  check out Jennys Blog  here

I've got my fingers crossed for you.
My pickup is 10 years old, so I know that feeling when it's time to renew...

I hope your car passed!
I'm in full agreement with you on quality. We have such a tendency to be seduced by the cheap and easily-available.

You are doing great to only choose the "better for you" chocolate and the serving size. I have a very sweet tooth and so that is very hard for me.

Great Q post. With my hubby and I living in a great distance and a totally different state than our kids, Quality time spent with them is definitely appreciated, since the quantity time is not possible.

Blessings & Aloha!
& yes, I was so happy to find that fabric with "God" on it...I specifically chose the little squares to sew in, that were either from material I used to sew them when they were younger or fabric that related to special things/interests in their lives. Thank you for visiting!

Oh, I hear you.

Quantity is always the most tempting for me. There is a show called Hungry Girl where she makes low cal food in high volumes for those of us that are always, always hungry!

Love this post.

It was quite qute!

Thanks for linking.
