Where has the weekend gone?
We started the weekend running on Friday home from work quick sort out then off to the district guiding campfire. 120 Rainbows, Brownies and Guides plus their leaders singing silly campfire songs and having lots of fun. Followed by hot dogs.
Saturday was an early start Ian and I joined a group of people from our church for the monthly prayer breakfast.
then it was off to prepare for the Rainbow picnic, This was preceded by a quick visit to Bearstone fruit farm. I had arranged to take the girls there for a quick "How do strawberries grow" talk and a picking time. They managed to get 6 punnets in 10 minutes between 12 girls not bad going. 
We then went onto our picnic in Woore the rain stayed away and a great time was had by all.
Saturday night and Ian & I had 2 parties to go to . A friend was having a gathering for her birthday , this was the wettest Bar b Q I have ever been to. But it was fun.
Come 8pm and we came home to join Dave & Vicky at their sons birthday arriving just in time for the ceremonial candle blowing.
And now we are just off to another Bar B Q and guess what ?
Yes you got it it's raining.
Hope your weekend has been as much fun as ours but maybe drier.
