This has been a busy week that is flying by.
Monday, April 6th
Isaiah 42:1-4
Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the nations. He will not cry or lift up his voice, or make it heard in the street; a bruised reed he will not break, and a dimly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice. He will not grow faint or be crushed until he has established justice in the earth; and the coastlands wait for his teaching.
Monday was dedicated to Easter card making not on the scale of Christmas but just for the children and couple of friends . Afterwards my study/ craft room looked like a bomb had exploded.

Oh and wrapping the family Easter gifts traditionally these gifts have always been a selection of small gifts costing way more than an Easter egg but generally much healthier, can't say whats in them as it will spoil it for Sunday but yes kids there is a small amount of chocolate!!!!
Tuesday was pottering day probs could have been a PJ day if I had thought of it , I ended up doing all the washing and ironing and visiting friends oh and dodging hail storms.
Wednesday, April 8th
Matthew 26:14-16 Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, "What will you give me if I betray him to you?" They paid him thirty pieces of silver. And from that moment he began to look for an opportunity to betray him.
Wednesday was my most productive day so far started of at 8am at church for communion this was a challenge I set myself for lent as well as not biting my nails , staying of facebook , not eating chocolate and along with 80+ members of our church reading through the bible well starting to we are reading cover to cover.

I decided to go to the Wed morning communion service. Now this is a service that is only spoken and full of thees and thous this is really not me but I have to say I have enjoyed them and may well continue after Easter.
Hannah and I then went to the local market and purchased some of the most amazing hot cross buns , we decided that instead of spending £10 going to the local coffee shop we would bring them home and do it ourselves so Hannah set the table and proceeded to make frothy hot chocolate for Hannah and milky coffee for me we had a really lovely 2o minutes shame I did not know how to use timer on camera. It is little precious times like that are so important for parent/ child times even if they are all grown up its what I call laying down memory moments.
I then Blitzed the house with catch up time at two more friends oh and lunch as well. But by the time Hannah came home the house was polished and ready to be visited.
Today
Thursday, April 9th (Holy Thursday)
John 13:12-16
After he had washed their feet, had put on his robe, and had returned to the table, he said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and Lord—and you are right, for that is what I am. So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have set you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you. Very truly, I tell you, servants are not greater than their master, nor are messengers greater than the one who sent them."
