WEEK 4 PROMPT

Welcome to the fourth week of Saturday Centus.

This is a themed writing meme.

Each Saturday you will be giving a new "prompt" for the week and you have the entire week to link your work to the meme.

Each linked essay must be 100 words or less, not including the "prompt" words. No pictures should be used. No profanity. The prompt words can be used in any place within your story but must be left intact.
Please check out Saturday Centus to see other contributors.

WEEK 4 PROMPT
May I help you, miss? You look puzzled.”

“Mmmm… thank you, I’m just looking for my father. We came in together a moment ago, but he seems to have wandered off
============================================================================
It's a year since my plane crashed into the Mississippi, a year with so much change. Life's amazing a new husband and baby on the way we are so blessed by God . Sadly though my father has now got dementia he lives with us with his carer. We try to make his live happy by going out to where he used to go with my Mum.

I don't have dementia - at least I think not - and I can get lost in any Sears store nationwide. He's probably over by the lawn mowers.

Seriously, thanks for the reminder to all of us whose parents are gone or are no longer themselves.

Great piece. My brother used to get lost on purpose...he liked to hear his name over the loud speaker at the store.

I get lost in Sears and JcPenney's too... they design those stores for just that reason, I think!!

Nice job :)

You just brought an old memory to me! I got lost in a Sears once, when I was a little girl, and I was sooooo worried!! Good job!

I almost went this direction too but shook it off since I've been doing too many darker posts lately. So glad you did this one. It needed to be said and you did it eloquently.
