Saturday Centus.....6

This is a Meme that has a prompt and the idea is to make a story using upto 100 extra words.
I have tried to link mine week by week. Not sure I can carry on much longer will need a good twist I think.
My stories are not true but do have elements of truth in them.
Please link up with Jenny and read some more fab stories ( not that I am saying mine is fab)
Oh the prompt is in Lilac. Happy reading

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's been a year of mixed feelings since Dad died .Rebecca's first summer spent in the garden , reminiscing about days gone by my Dad telling me about me rolling down the hill as a child , and did I remember when we got married the Lilies I had in my Bouquet in 1960 and our reception on the lawn ,by that stage he thought I was his wife. Sadly we were on the fresh mown lawn when he fell asleep that final long sleep telling Mum he was on his way. ,

It’s true, the smell of freshly mowed grass can stay with you for years, for decades, Goodbye Dad we will never forget you.

It's sad when someone doesn't remember when they get old. I really liked this though a lot. Very touching. Great post.
