Twenty Six

Twenty Six is the number of letters in the alphabet, I use the alphabet as an

aide-mémoire when praying.

Now this might not sound a good Christian value as I use it instead of counting sheep when I cant sleep , I also use this when driving and stuck in a traffic jam.

I either pray for one person beginning with the letter of a couple or family if I have chosen a surname.

Now I hear you say “what if you fall asleep at J?”

I also pondered this one so sometimes I start at Z, now I don't know about you but I actually only know of two people beginning with Z ( sorry my Z post was made up, no I did not lie I just was trying to entertain you ) . So it is fair to say that these people are well covered in prayer , I have once or twice tried praying for countries through the alphabet guess I am not good at geography. As I ALWAYS get stuck somewhere.

Anyway this is my last contribution to Alphabet Thursday on letters next week I am taking part in summer school and as I finish for school tomorrow for 6 weeks I will be able to put much more time into it.

I have already started snapping away as I intend to use only my own photographs so alas no google for me to get a good pic.

If your not joining us in class for the RAINBOW have a great summer and hope to see you all soon.

Please pop in and visit our teacher I am just organising her end of term gift so must fly .

Bye

PS hope you don't think I am a teachers pet but it is customery to buy the teacher gifts to show appreciation at the end of the year so here goes .

Firstly I am sure you could use a cookie whilst your preparing our classes.

Then I thought mm a note pad collection would be good for when you get inspired

Then of course all good teachers get a card so here is mine

and this is the verse inside.

I thought these would br useful for the summer school

and finally a boquet of 26 sunflowers to remind you that you bring sunshine to our lives every day

God Bless and thank you for all your hard work.

What a sweet tribute to Jenny.

I do a gratitude list at the end of the day. It helps me remember the people I hold dear. Each gets a prayer as well.

Ahh gifts to the teacher. Why did I not think of that? Not a bad idea when you sit and think how should I pray today? I'll start with the letter A.

A very creative way to pray.

How nice of you to remember Jenny with virtual teacher gifts. Clever idea.

Well, you will be teacher's pet, for sure!

Teacher's Pet shoe-in! You should have collected some virtual $$ to pay for the gifts - because we all wanted to go in on it and not look like the slackers we are!

Oh Tracy, you are so lovely and sweet.

Thanks for this tasty link to add to the deliciousness of our Alphabet Soup.

And thanks for my lovely gifts!

You are a gem!
