Pardon me," said Tom T. Urkee..." is my starter this week . Jenny from Saturday Centus sets us a task this is how I have used mine. This week . Maybe I am dreaming that this will happen at my sons wedding in 2 weeks time.
Please pop over and see her.
I was so excited ,my hair was done, my dress beautifuly pressed by the dressmaker, shoes and handbug sat patiently in their boxes and just had time to get my make up done.
I was so eager to be going to the wedding only downside was the dancing as divorced women I was alone I am sure my wonderful Aunt would not want to smootch with me .
Ceremony over and time to hit the dance floor I had spent all day looking at the guests and suddenly a gentle tap on my shoulder "Pardon me," said Tom T. Urkee..."May I have this dance?"
I spun round to see Mr perfect

I hope you do get to dance at the wedding - alot! But hopefully you won't be asked to dance by a turkey :) Fun use of the prompt! Kat
Great take! And I love the last line. He's out there somewhere.
Thanks for this one...........cj
This was a fun take on the prompt. Very clever. Mine is not very funny. I made the mistake of reading Emptinester's first and felt how all the air ran out of my balloon.
Best wishes,
Anna

I hope something like this does happen at the wedding. Don't forget there are also fast dances you can dance with your friends ;-) Good centus.

Tracy Urkee. I like it. It has a cute ring to it!
Thanks for a fun link this week Tracy. I had wanted to read these on Thanksgiving but chaos got in the way.
You made me smile.
