M is for My Mates..........................

Ok well it is Alphabet Thursday again already and this weeek our wonderful teacher over at http://jennymatlock.blogspot.com/  has given us the letter M . Please visit her for more inspiring lessons.

Now I could have gone for

we all know this one even if like my Aunt you have NEVER eaten in one.
I could have chosen
I think these have to be my fav chocolates especialy if cold from the freezer.

I could have talked about my mum but I did that in February.

No instead I am sharing today with you today my affairs and feeling for a number of M's who for this blog are just going to be numbers to protect their identity.
Oh and I won't be displaying photos that would be highly unfair to publish them
so let me go back to my first M Memory.
It must be 1 when I lived in Kings lynn I used to visit AJ in Sussex and 1 used to take me part of the way .And in Kings Lynn M's were really not easy to find still are not really you have to travel along way to find one.

The most annoying M in my life has been 25 basically 25 can never be relied on to get me anywhere on time so I always have to allow 25 extra time if escorting me some where . Thankfully I only have to rely on 25  if I am travelling to the south so that is not to often.
Why is 25 so annoying well there is always a good excuse to many other people around make up and all that rubbish any way as I said thankfully I don't call on 25 to often

Now 54 is very reliable quite short for my liking but reliable always on time and totaly the opposite to 25  with 54 I know exactly where I am at all times and am rarely late so a perfect combination now invariably that leads me to 6 not always but quite often.
6 has been my preffered companion for many years now I know 6 very well .At times 6 is a bit like 25 but I know that we are in the long haul together ,6 and I have just had a wonderful trip to Carlisle this week such a good companion smooth all the way and as I only live 25 minutes away from  6 I call on 6's services quite often . 6 accompanied me on my honeymoon well some of it anyway ^ has always been ivolved in the start of our holidays infact when I go to spring harvest this week 54 and 6 will be there at the start with me not sure which others yet.

I must at this point give an honourable mention to 11 who has accompanied part way to my wonderful Godmothers  and then there is 42,40,4,5 and 3  all who have played small parts in my life.

Probably 62   was called upon most to accompany us as a family to Liverpool at one point on our journey there is a part where there are lights then no lights and the children where convinced, aided and abbeted by me that Dad had a button in the car to switch the street lights of to save money.

Ok have you worked this out yet or are you still thinking no wonder this women is headed to the divorce courts being so unfaithful?
My M this week is Motorways or as you call them in the states Freeways and Interstate highways I think.
I came up with this for M as I was driving up to Carlisle this week and though about the motorways I have travelled on. They are a bit like a companion and you do get to know them and some better than others.
I really dislike the M25 as it is never plain sailing I love the M11 as I know that  am close to My Godmother and the M6 means I am visiting someone special normally. The M54 also means the same. I am fortunate that the Motorway network is not part of my commute to work , if that was the case I would not have written such a blog.

I hasten to add I did not take this photo but this was what the road was like wide empty peaceful and sunny.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog I would like to apologise now if I do not read and comment on yours as quickly this week but I am away until Sunday so will catch up on my return have a good week.

Oh yes I am heading off on the M54, M6 and a few others who will pick me up on the way as directed by my good friend Sat Nav

6 has been a biggy for me too, though I am nearer to 1 right now.

If mark makes it to Uni in Cumbria, I think 6 is going to leap up the significance ratings again!

Like you, I hate 25!!

This was clever! I could not figure it out for the life of me, but I'm so exhausted right now that I could probably not figure out a child's riddle :) Have a fun and safe trip. Kathy

Wow! At first, I was thinking Hm...is this the Mystery post that Ms. Matlock Mentioned on her post? I am a bit clueless on certain things, so was trying to figure if there was a hidden clue going on around here! haha

Thank goodness for your explanation, otherwise I would have headed to bed quite "M"uddled. (Fun, fun post..kept me on my toes!)

Blessings & Aloha!
