Q is for...............

I had a really queer day yesterday . I was Quietly queuing ( British people do this best) as a quintessentially English person when  I saw a quaint cottage , with quality features that made me think of what the letter “Q” is .

Q is a letter that is normally followed by you sorry I meant “U” that was quality control there.

Anyway back to “Q” as a scrabble fan I love the letter “Q” after all it is worth 10 points, but what if I don't have a “U” have no fear I have a queer list of such qualifying  words

QANGAS ,QI, QWERTY, QADI ,QINDAR are just a few .

I have to qualify that I have only used Qi.

Any way back to my Q issues any ideas? Not me but quilting is something that I have a quirky idea of.

And then there is our very own Queen Elizabeth what an amazing person with great quality .

I am glad I have never had Q fever have you? Maybe if I lived in a quonset hut I might catch it.

Quundam now thats me " someone who had a former position " mine was that of wife.

I love this word Quodlibetarian and I do it regularly about my blog.

Now we come to Quinquevalve any ideas? it means to have 5 valves very useful .

Ok enough of this quick study of queer words and back to what I was really going to share about. Whilst I was Queuing a lady came up using sign language this was the only letter I recognised any ideas?

Oh yes I was in a Queue ( I go there every Quinquenial)  to look at a quality quilt in the quite quiet quarter of Quebec when a quartet passed me by quite catching me by surprise, well come on not exactly what you would expect on a quiet Saturday afternoon in Quebec with quails flying overhead.

I suddenly realised I was hungry having had a quality breakfast of Quaker Oats I was now really wanting to quickly pop to the quadrangle and buy a quick Quorn burger from the man reading his Quoran. I ended up quibbling with him about the quite high quote he gave me of the equivalent cost of five quid surely quadruple of its true value?

Having said that it was a quite delicous burger and I am now quite full and ready to resume my queuing. I met this Mayan lady in the queue speaking quiche such a beautiful language. She quoted quantum physics to me hard enough to understand in English.

She then went on to tell me about this querent in court quite interesting really. When suddenly out of nowhere I passed by quite the most quality members of the Quercus family in full leaf ,beautiful with a quintet of quails  this time sitting on a branch including a quab.

Anyway I had better go my quite delightful daughter is coming after me with her quarterstaff as I am meant to be cleaning my quite disgusting quarterdeck. I will then sit quietly with my quair. And dream of a quarterback eating a quarter pounder

I Did not eat a dictionary went to here  and here off  now to watch Quantum Leap

Please  get your name ticked of here  at the  class  register with Jenny at Alphabet Thursday a
Blog

PS has anybody seen my Quokka?
Such a quizzical litle chap that lives on Rottnes Island

PPS does anybody have any use for some Qindar?
Sorry I have been quietly going mad with all these Q words and I thought it was going to be hard.
The quizzical Dr  Quentine and Nurse Quinnie have come to take me back to the ASSYLUM  in Quant lane, near the Quantack hills. A quiet secluded place for the quarrelsome and quite insane aquaintences of
Jenny Matlock's School
They flew all the way to Quebec on Quantas airlines to take me back to England.
See you when I am Realeased Jenny Matlock's School

Wow! That's quite a lot of Q words! I love to get the Q in scrabble, too. My favorite thing is to spell qi, with the q on the double, forming another word in the other direction.

I almost forgot....Thanks for visiting my blog Q Post!
You asked how I made the raggy quilts? I think I am going to get a tutorial together on how to make them and post it on my blog next week. I'll give you a holler when I do. Also, you could ask Jenny Matlock how she makes her Strippy Quilts. They are very similar to these. She wrote a book about how to make Strippy Quilts.
Your family looks adorable in your photo!!!

Tracy, I am just reading this on Saturday morning, laughing my head off - thank God, I've just consumed a very strong double French dark roast or I'm not sure I could have followed it at all. This was, undoubtedly, the best "Q" post I've read. You are incredibly brilliant, in a mad sort of way, I surmise, to have even managed to post this! Excellent and great fun.
