Sometimes you read something and think oh wow thats good aother times you read something and thing wow what a brave person, Well I have just read this blog about a 15 year old called Alice. She has written a bucket list ( one of my fav films) as she has terminal cancer. She is not asking for money but just wanted to share her experience with her friends since Monday her blog has had ove six thousand people add as followers.
One of her wishes is that everyone will offer to be a bonemarrow donor.
it's amazing how one so young can want something so grown up.
Anyway just a short blog
This is a blog that started out as family news and due to circumstances has evolved from a family blog to more about me and what I am doing with bits and bobs of family news so here goes .............

New Beginnings Fresh Starts
As many of us wait for the new term to start I have to share with you about Adam.
Adam has been part of this family since birth almost.
Adam's Mum sadly died December 08 and since then has been a bigger part of our family.
Now he would be the first to admit this has been a mega white nuckle ride for all concerned.
I mean give me a break teenagers are hard at the best of times, couple that with all the rest that has been going on in our respective lives.
Anyway enough waffle ( no AJ I am not going to eat one) . This last few months have been a series of what ifs.
What if youy dont get grades for uni?
What if you don't get to college in Manchester?
What if you stayed here in Market Drayton and tried a local six form college to retake some A levels.
All these were greeted by NO I AM GOING TO GET A FLAT IN TRAFFORD.
Ok so much prayer later and oodles of declining patience Thursday arrived and for those not in the know that is revelation day of A level results.
The night before Adam was stressed as were zillions of other teenagers around this country.
Anyway I had a plan a cunning plan , I called my amazing friend Susie Buxton and put forward my proposal.
It was accepted with excitement .
All I told Adam was that after he had results we were heading off out for the day , no clues as to where , ok so I might have teased him that it was at a very high point in Shropshire and I might have lead him to believe that we were walking up to said highest point.
I had decided that if we stayed home it would be a day of grumpiness and frustration and thats just me .
Anyway results arrived and they were not as hoped and an offer for uni was not forthcoming.
Adam started trying UCAS but busy all the time.
Anyway we headed of for thThe Buxton home in OSwestry and basically had a brilliant time.
My Great Niece Mya had fun with Alfie , I had a great time with James, Susie and a very pregnant Steph bought material for craft projects and came home.
When home Adam made a few calls any way enough to say that Adam is starting at Crewe Campus on 21st September same course different campus.
I would add that I started the dau by praying for Adam and his comment was what ever , by the end of the day he was saying wow prayer can work and yes we did say thank you .
Needless to say Adamis now bouncing around and has been transformed from a stroppy sulky scared teenager to a young man who is looking forward to the future. Oh yes and yesterday he applied for a Man utd season ticked and got one.
I wonder what is in store for today?
Adam John Meadows.
Apart from the fact that he supports Manchester United ( he even got his first season ticket yesterday) Adam has been part of this family since birth almost.
Adam's Mum sadly died December 08 and since then has been a bigger part of our family.

Thankful
Firstly I would like to say no this is not an Alphabet Thursday blog so no strange words here.
I just want to share that I am so thankful, I know not everybody comments when they visit but just want to say thank you for visiting.
Why am I thankful I hear you say ( ok not literally and maybe your not thinking that) I am thankful for many things My fantastic children who are there at the end of the phone and who text for no reason just cos they do.
I am Thankful for two fantastic Aunts AJ & Trish and their encouragement and support.
Thankful for Life that I have it , a gift from God to not be abused and wasted ( guilty there ) .
Thankful that I have a roof over my head and altho there is not much money around here there is enough for what we need, food is eaten everyday and bills are paid.
My garden is growing as are the vegetables both the ones I have bought and the ones AJ has grown all we need now is the right conditions for them to grow.
Friends as well are a reason to be thanful both the ones here and that I know and see regularly and those that are part of my blogging world. Please take time to check this out my new friend over at follow the gypsey she has done something amazing for me. We have never met or spoken but have hit it off. For Jenny at Alphabet Thursday etc her emails arrive at the most opportune moment and there are many more thank yous.
I am thankful for the Salvation I found in Jesus Christ. I am thankful that He never gives up on me, even when I fail.
I am thankful that I have a whole new day stretched ahead of me with its new opportunities and blessings, with my family and my friends and my God. I am thankful that I am forgiven .
I am thankful that I have a Bible – that I can read the promises of God and discover who He is and His great love for me.
I am thankful for music and worship that draws our heart towards God. I am also thankful when I get to see people come to know Christ – there is nothing like it in the world.
Ok I think I am done do not want to bore you.

Sunny Day
Today was the first hot day this year I say hot in the loosest terms. Put it this way at lunchtime I was out in a T shirt no sweater or coat.
Ok it was not quite a completely blue sky but it was very warm
And I am not near the sea but I do like this photo and would quite happily walk along a beach looking out to the sun reflecting on the water.
It was still warm at 4.30 tonoight so we let the Rainbows play outside for quite a bit of the meeting .
Any way time for supper
Fish Pie yummy well it's not Hannah's favourite .
And then it's off for a dog walk
Sadly she has not been trimmed and is to scruffy to put on here.
Ok got to go food ready
