I got up this morning as usual and to be honest i thoughtthat a whirlwind had happened in my bedroom over night. Then I remembered that i was trying to sort an outfit for work. Yes I have a wardrobe and Hangers and yes I do use it in fact Hannah sorted my wardrobe not long ago. No I am no Martha Stewart but I do have an organised wardrobe ( well it has lost some of the organisation now but hey I am a busy person) My trousers are all together as are long and short sleeve tops plus shirts and Cardigans and sweatshirts.
Anyway let me get back to last night I decided I would be more organised and put my clothes out ready , what a mistake never again .I tried on so many outfits , to be honest I was a bit like Goldilocks everything was either to short to fat to tight wrong colour or just wrong. So I showered and got into bed. Now I then had another problem I got myself in real a pickle I had everything going round in my head why was my marriage over, how was I going to afford to stay here, will I be single for ever , When will life retun to some sense of normality should I stay in my fantastic but low paid job, what if the fish in the pond die are my tyres really bald ( yes they are I get new ones tomorrow) It was one of those nights that anything and everything came into my head . Then I remembered a bible verse Jeremiah 29 11- 12 . 11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. So basically I prayed through it all Now I did not have a sudden resolve of all these issues but I did have peace and fell asleep.
Now I don't kow about what you would do , but I did not put the items neatly back in the wardrobe no I placed them ( actually threw them ) on the rocking chair in disgust so this morning I woke up to a mess. No time before work so I just grapped pair trousers and top and threw a scarf round the neck presentable enough.
Any way I got home from work to face the reality of the situation. I tidied up, hung up clothes and semi organised the wardrobe again. I then did two washloads and ended the domestic part of the day by ironing.
I feel so self righteous I am waiting to finish the last bit of ironing then off to bed.
